The highly anticipated Super Bowl LIV halftime show featuring Jennifer Lopez and Shakira from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, didn’t disappoint with both artists delivering a high energy performance featuring some of their biggest hits.
Shakira took to the stage first with a medley featuring “Whenever, Where Ever” and “Hips Don’t Lie” in a sequence where she also played the guitar and crowd surfed.
JLo was next and also performed a medley that included “Jenny From The Block”, “Ain’t it Funny”, and “Waiting for Tonight”. She also performed a pole dance number that may have reminded many viewers of her successful “Hustlers” role.
Shakira returned the stage to join her partner, in a joint performance that also featured Lopez’s daughter and an entire group of younger female performers, before the two headliners closed with “Waka Waka” and an impressive group dance.
Early reviews from the performance online were mostly positive with viewers enjoying the major hits from both artists and the sharp choreography.
