Monday night TV brings us an unexpected double helping of NFL Football, a last look at Monday Night Raw before the superstar shakeup, and Dancing With The Stars without the Tiger King Drama.
A COVID-19 positive test from New England Patriots quarterback, Cam Newton, caused the NFL to push back the marquis matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs from Sunday afternoon to Monday night on CBS, where it will join the Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons on ESPN. All four teams are strong draws and should make both networks happy.
Some of those fans will be flipping between both of those games and potentially Monday Night Raw. It’s the last time we’re going to see this roster before the draft begins on Smackdown on Friday night. The draft is typically one of the more exciting events of the year, creating feuds we’ve never seen before.
For fans of less aggressive television, it’s Dancing with the Stars night. The show lost its main draw early last week when Tiger King star and animal activist Carole Baskin was eliminated in a lion costume after performing to a song from the Lion King on Disney night. Actress Anne Heche could be in trouble next after receiving low scores from judges the last couple of weeks.
