What’s On TV Tonight: Issa Rae on SNL and Game 7 of controversial playoff baseball

Saturday Night TV offers a traditional line up of college football, a new episode of SNL, and the biggest and most controversial playoff baseball game of the year.

Issa Rae from HBO’s “Insecure” will be the host for tonight’s Saturday Night Live with Justin Bieber as musical guest. SNL will be looking to ramp up the laughs after a slow start and try to make more viewers happier than they did with the controversial (but harmless) Bill Burr monologue from last week (story HERE). Rae and Bieber should be good for that. SNL of course airs on NBC.

A big College Football match up out of the SEC tonight on CBS with No. 2 Alabama taking on No. 3 Georgia. These two collegiate football titans are always competing at the highest level and not even the pandemic will keep these two from playing hard tonight.

Finally, 2020 could give us another villainous laugh this evening should the Houston Astros defeat the Tampa Bay Rays in game 7 of the ALCS and advance to the world series. The Astros were caught up in a cheating scandal that rocked baseball (story HERE) and many are wondering if they should be allowed to play at all.
