Sunday Night TV continues it’s streak of championship sports, while an old game show favorite returns for the rest of us non athletic types.
We’re getting the San Francisco 49ers, who are all the sudden fighting for their season, against the Los Angeles Rams, who are regaining their winning swagger after a bad season. This match up of the last two Super Bowl losers should be fun to watch with important playoff implications in the AFC West. Sunday Night Football airs on NBC.
Then we’ve got more all or nothing baseball with game 7 of the National League Championship Series between the Atlanta Braves and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers are due and their window is closing but there are many who believe it’s the Atlanta Braves that have been the best team in the NL this year. FOX will run this game opposite of SNF and they could split viewers in Los Angeles.
And one of my favorite childhood game shows, Supermarket Sweep returns on ABC. If you remember this program, you’ll remember contestants racing up and down the aisles of a grocery store trying to compile the highest money totals in a 2 minute sprint to win. It’s all about the frozen turkeys and contact lenses here. Saturday Night Live alum, Leslie Jones, is the new host and I have high hopes.
