What’s On TV Tonight? The Mandalorian, Smackdown before Survivor Series, Bill Maher finale

Friday night TV isn’t too shabby tonight for end of the week fare, with a Star Wars favorite, a “go home show” before a big wrestling pay per view, and a season finale for a cable talker.

The Mandalorian is out with a new episode today, and season 2 has just been wonderful with Jon Favreau and Bryce Dallas Howard delivering some really rewarding episodes thus far. Last week, they teased Ashoka Tano, a Jedi mythology favorite that will likely get a big “pop” from fans when she does appear. Rosario Dawson will be playing Ashoka as our Mandalorian hero continues to look for a home for “the child”. The Mandalorian airs on Disney Plus.

WWE Smackdown should be a great show with Survivor Series coming up on Sunday. There should be some surprises tonight, and let’s hope we get that RAW invasion that we haven’t seen yet. WWE has been disappointing me a lot lately. I really want them to flip that trend tonight. Smackdown airs on FOX.

And Real Time with Bill Maher is having their season finale with Michael Eric Dyson, Alex Wagner, and Jon Meacham as guests. That show airs on HBO.

Finally, we have a new Blacklist on NBC and Sharktank on ABC. Both are old reliables for their network.
