Three years ago, we lost 49 people in what was our darkest day here in Orlando. This was an attack on the LGBTQ community, the Latino community, and in a community as close as Central Florida’s, an attack on all of us.
We responded with courage, love, and a commitment to healing. One of our darkest days was followed by months of watching our strength as a community grow as the world rushed to support us.
Today, we honor those we lost three years ago.
I’ve decided to compile the news coverage from around the community below, and I encourage you to think about our community and attend one of the events taking place around town today.
This list will be updated as the days continues.
