AEW Dynamite: The build for Full Gear was the most fun you could have watching TV tonight

How does this show manage to be so much fun week in and week out?

Goodness, the build on AEW Dynamite on TNT for their Full Gear Pay Per View this Saturday was absolutely *Chef’s Kiss* with almost every segment bringing us a real laugh and some terrific wrestling action.

We have to start with MJF and Chris Jericho again ahead of their Full Gear Match. MJF and Wardlow took on Ortiz and Sammy Guevara, and the genuine dislike between Sammy and MJF managed to get a pop from me at home. I can feel that he doesn’t want MJF to take his place at Chris Jericho’s right side and that’s what will happen if MJF beats Jericho and joins the Inner Circle. Then that spear from MJF on Jericho through the walk and repeat was just so much fun. Loved it.

And you guys know I’m a Dark Order guy. That match between Orange Cassidy and John Silver is going to be terrifc and I love the interference Evil Uno and the guys are running out there to help their boy out.

Speaking of Cassidy, this segue leading to Miro and Kip Sabian gave us some more great action in their feud with the Best Friends. Miro is a savage and I love what they’re doing at AEW for him.

And that Cassidy episode with Penelope Ford was just played out so perfectly. Attitude everywhere.

Finally, those twin interviews featuring Kenny Omega with Tony Schiavone opposite Hangman Page and Good Ol’ JR was more entertaining television. We already know that match is going to be a barn burner, but these little touches that changes the traditional formula of a promo is just good wrestling television.

I’ll be there Saturday for Full Gear. And hopefully you’ll be there too!
