What election night took away from us in programming on Tuesday night, we’re getting back with one really loaded Thursday night, featuring NFL football, a highly anticipated reality cliff hanger, and a sitcom favorite without one of the show’s stars.
On Thursday Night Football we’re getting a rematch of the NFC Championship between the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco 49ers. The Pack are among the best again in the conference this year, while San Fran has been battling a rash of injuries to try to keep up with the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC West.
That game air on FOX.
Will we finally see Clare Crowley blow up The Bachelorette? Maybe. Tonight we creep closer to the eventual switch from Clare to Tayshia Adams after the former runs off with the man she met in the first 15 minutes of this season. Tayshia will likely take the season the rest of the way.
It has been gloriously wonderful train wreck television. Good job ABC.
Finally, CBS is returning “Mom” without Anna Faris (a decision I was against, that post HERE) but it should provide a spike for the network as Allison Janney takes the sole lead. A job the Academy Award winner is more than up to the task of doing.
