Trends in Orlando are once again weather related, with Tropical Storm Eta leading the way. Areas that aren’t severely affected by the storm are mostly focused on more entertainment centered matters with a new gaming console and a tradition like no other taking place just up the road from Eta.
Tropical Storm Eta made land fall this morning at Cedar Key, which is why it’s trending. The storm has mostly passed but heavy rain and winds are still possible before it heads north up the eastern seaboard. As always check your local news for sever weather coverage (story HERE).
The Playstation 5 is out and just like the XBox Series X that preceded it on Tuesday, the rush will be on in Orlando to get hands on one. It’s unlikely to happen for the majority of gamers though. Supply will be in line with typical launch standards which means anywhere from 2-12 machines at some stores. These consoles are typically used as door busters for the holiday season.
Finally, The Masters is upon us and while there will be no fans in Augusta, Georgia for the biggest golf tournament of the year, the interest is still there. Big names will be defending champion Tiger Woods, coming off of that huge comeback last year, and Bryson DeChambeau who’s changing the game by training like he’s challenging for the WWE title instead of worlds’ best golfer (story HERE).
