The Aaron Jones disrespect is real on the ESPN Top NFL RBs list for the upcoming season

A day after naming Green Bay Quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, #3 in their top ten poll of NFL quarterbacks for the upcoming season (story HERE) ESPN has decided to issue a potent snub to one of his biggest offensive weapons. They left Aaron Jones off of their list of top NFL running backs for the upcoming season.

Those who did make it were Le’Veon Bell from the New York Jets (10), Alvin Kamara of the New Orleans Saints (4) and Saquon Barkley from the New York Giants (1). All players who rushed for less yards that Jones last year.

Others included Christian McCaffrey (2), Ezikiel Elliott (3), Dalvin Cook (6), and Nick Chubb (7). All running backs who scored less touchdowns than Jones, who was second in the league.

This also doesn’t take into account the history of injuries to players or time off the field due to misconduct. It also doesn’t take into account players asking for bigger contracts.

The poll was conducted among 50 personnel at ESPN.

We’re not alone in the disappointment over the Jones snub. Jones was trending in the top ten on Twitter. All fans who were unhappy with the list.

And it didn’t go unnoticed by Jones himself, who tweeted the following message afterwards.
