On Thursday, ESPN released their ranking of 50 best players in the Orlando bubble, as the NBA prepares to conclude the 2019-2020 season. The best-record Milwaukee Bucks were given their fair due with four players on the list (story HERE).
MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo was #2 on the rundown. Many believe he’s currently the #1 best player in the league. The fact that the much older LeBron James was on the top of the list should open up the channels for debate as play restarts.
Khris Middleton, who has already been the subject of debate by making the Bleacher Report top ten player list (story HERE) finds himself here at #17.
Eric Bledsoe is listed as #43 for his ability to create on offense and Brook Lopez comes in at #45 for his defensive play.
Besides LeBron and Giannis. Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and another Laker, Anthony Davis round out the top 10. Although, I’m sure any of them would tell you that the only title they care about is NBA Champion if and when this unprecedented season finally concludes.
