If you turned on the TV this morning to several of the sports talkers, there was one topic that worked it’s way into each of their rundowns.
The “rift” between Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
None of the information was new of course. It was the same questions. What Aaron thought about Jordan love. What the Aaron thinks about the weapons he has around him. What is in store for Aaron’s future.
The answers were the same. The two have spoken. Aaron wanted more weapons. And Aaron isn’t sure about his future.
Probably cause he’s more concerned about winning the two more games he left on the table that shorted him and the rest of the team he leads a SuperBowl ring.
But the world doesn’t want to hear that. They want to dogpile on a guy that just broke up with his girlfriend and is trying to focus on what he loves.
The truth is that every football entity outside of Green Bay that isn’t already a fan, wants a nasty divorce between the Packers and Aaron Rodgers (stories HERE, HERE, and HERE). Some want it for ratings. Others want it to pretend to be smart and say they called it. Others just want to see the world burn.
None of it is good for my neighbors in Green Bay. And unfortunately, they’re not going to stop.
What can you do? Well, you can keep being supportive of your quarterback and the team. And you can boo these questions that are designed to break up your team and keep your community from winning another ring, when really you can use it the most.
Remain vigilant too. Because they won’t be happy until Rodgers is in Los Angeles or New York.
This is an attack on your Packers outside of the gridiron that if successful, will be a negative for the future of your franchise.
