Call Of Duty Warzone giveth. Call Of Duty Warzone taketh away.
And Call Of Duty Warzone players, myself included, keep learning this is the hard way.
Another occasion of that lesson occurred over the week, when vehicles were suddenly taken away from the game because of a glitch being exposed that was crashing servers (story HERE).
There has been no timetable set for return.
Now, I don’t normally like to side with players very often. Sadly, most of the time they don’t make any sense.
But Call Of Duty is wrong. Again.
The difference here is that we’re taking a step back. This isn’t an unreleased game. Or the status quo being preserved for profits. This game is taking away things from it’s customers. And that’s wrong.
We had a feature in the game one day. The next day it was wrong.
Now some might say that this is a necessary precaution to protect the game from glitches. That might be true.
But let me ask you a question. If you’re a property owner and install a security system in your tenant’s home, hire a security guard, and get a guard dog, and the house is still being robbed, should the tenants have to move out until you get your act together?
The answer is no. The tenant shouldn’t have to stop driving their cargo truck with trophy system either.
This is a billion dollar business. Players shouldn’t be losing anything.
Warzone needs to give players back their vehicles now.
