Another great episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night coming off of what I thought was a perfect program last week (story HERE). This week continued that kind of excellence by allowing different parts of the roster to shine and the return of one of their best in the Women’s Divsion.
Ricky Starks and Darby Allin showcase athletic excellence: These guys were the talk of wrestling social media Wednesday night, putting on a match that was liked by just about everyone. They’ve got the chemistry of a rivalry that could be really special. It’s just so hard to go wrong with this kind of athleticism and I want to see these guys do it again and again.
The Doctor has returned, and boy did we miss her: AEW got one of the best heels in their company back during Dynamite with Dr. Britt Baker DMD maker her return against Red Velvet. The thing about Baker is that we enjoyed her wheelchair stuff so much while she was injured, that it took a second to get used to seeing her wrestle again. She didn’t miss a beat and that Women’s Division becomes instantly better with her in it. Let her keep cutting promos too.
Give us all of the Chris Jericho and MJF: Another promo with MJF delivering friendship offerings to the Inner Circle and more great dialog with his verbal equal, “Le Champion” Chris Jericho. I’m really enjoying where they’re going with this. And the rest of the guys are filling in the supporting roles really well. This is going to be a lot of fun. Give me more!
