Football fans will have a stacked Monday night after the NFL moved the Patriots/Chiefs match up after a positive COVID diagnosis involving New England quarterback, Cam Newton. The contest was originally scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
America will get Bill Belichick vs Patrick Mahomes at 705PM, while the original Monday Night Football game featuring the Green Bay Packers vs. Atlanta Falcons remains at 850PM.
All four teams draw well, CBS will obviously enjoy a bump over its original Monday night programming (One Day At A Time and Manhunt) and might poach some eyeballs from ESPN as well.
Dancing With The Stars will still do well with the non football crowd. WWE might lose some viewers from Monday Night Raw in the Boston and Kansas City markets.
This was the NFL second COVID challenge. The Tennessee Titans vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game also had to be rescheduled to a later dater after COVID testing came back positive.
