Dancing With The Stars: Kaitlyn Bristowe and Johnny Weir can’t lose

Monday night was 80’s night on Dancing With The Stars, and our celebrities danced to hits from such favorites as Madonna, Bon Jovi, and Huey Lewis and the News. Two stars continued their seemingly unbeatable hot streak while it was time to say good by to one former teen heartthrob.

Kaitlyn Bristowe from the Bachelor actually taught her partner some break dancing moves en route to a 27 and figure skater Johnny Weir and his partner wrangled a near perfect score of a 29. Both participants have continually had the top 5 scores in the group and continue to remain on another level from the rest of the competition. Justina Machado also got high marks for her Flashdance tribute that included her getting doused with water towards the end of her routine.

In the end of it actor Jesse Metcalfe who just had a bad night and was sent packing, when judges chose to save Superbowl tight end, Vernon Davis at the end of the show.

My favorite dance of the night was Jeannie Mai from “The Real” doing Madonna. Also, I disagree with the classification of New Kids On The Block as an 80s act, that’s 90s. I remember hearing them on the Jukebox Network.

Also featured was tomorrow’s premiere of the Bachlorette and the trailer looked promising. You’ll find coverage of that here on FTR tomorrow.
