On Saturday morning, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer announced on social media that he will be self quarantining after coming into contact with someone who had tested positive for COVID 19.
Dyer himself says he got a rapid response test which was revealed to be negative.
The news comes as the Orlando City Council is scheduled to resume in person meetings on Monday.

With the virus still impacting our community, this remains uncharted territory for us all, me included. This week I found out I was exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19. While I had no symptoms, out of of caution I got a rapid test and received a negative result.
