Right now hundreds of families are getting thrown out on the streets of Orlando because property management companies have been allowed to exploit them for years with unfair rent increases. There is no action being done by our elected officials and many proposed solutions would take to long to implement or could be tabled indefinitely.
We can’t wait until 2023 for 50 units of housing, when we have thousands of people that need it now. We need rent decreases and rent freezes implemented immediately. If not, a labor strike that effects the profits of Orlando employers will be the only action families have that will compel our elected leaders to act.
You can view a video on how we got here below, and what we can do to get out of this mess Orlando property management companies put us in.
