Saturday Night Live: Show honors Betty White with reairing of classic 2010 episode

Fans of the late great, Betty White, will find a pleasant surprise when they tune into the Saturday Night Live rerun tonight. The show is reairing her critically lauded episode from 2010. White passed away at the age of 99 years old on New Years Eve, just days away from what would have been her 100th birthday.

Below is the tweet.

I was fortunate enough to watch this show during it’s original airing. The musical guest is Jay Z, who dedicates his performance of “Forever Young” to White. There are also famous former cast members everywhere on this episode including Kristen Wiig, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, and Fred Armisen.

It’s a great way to honor and remember this icon who is already badly missed. SNL airs on NBC with reruns on Hulu, and clips available the next morning on YouTube.
