What’s On TV Tonight 1/22/23: Accused premiere, The Last of Us continues, NFL Playoffs

Your Sunday night television selections offers quite a big of variety, with a highly touted premiere, the continuation of a cable blockbuster in the making and high stakes NFL Football.

FOX will feature the ratings champion for the evening with NFL playoff football as the Dallas Cowboys take on the San Francisco 49ers in a match up straight out of my childhood. The premiere of The Accused will follow. Expect a review of that from me tomorrow right here.

ABC is continuing its commitment to classic movies by airing Iron Man from 2008. The Robert Downey Jr. super hero blockbuster kicked off the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it today.

CBS is also following that lead. First they will air a repeat of Ghosts (one of my favorites at the moment and the ‘dumb deaths’ episode at that) and then Top Gun. Top Gun: Maverick was my movie of the year last year and available on their streamer.

NBC is giving us Dateline and America’s Got Talent All Stars.

Finally the CW is giving us two pairs of World’s Funniest Animals and Whose Line Is It Anyways? all repeats.

On HBO, where you’ll find me, we’ll get the second episode of “The Last of Us”. The premiere was a banger.

Happy watching!
