ESPN First Take: Marcus “Swagu” Spears continues TV siege of Aaron Rodgers

The biggest critic on television of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, since the Packers loss against the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Playoffs on Saturday night, has been Marcus Spears on ESPN. “Swagu” as he’s called by his colleagues.

Spears continued his assault on Rodgers’ resume and future this morning on ESPN First Take against Stephen A. Smith. Just over 24 hours after he went toe to toe with Jeff Saturday, who played with Rodgers in Green Bay, on ESPN’s “Get Up”.

Stephen A. did go to bet for “that baaaaad” man like he normally does.

Rodgers’ future is up in the air as he weighs staying in Green Bay, going somewhere else to try to win a second championship, or retiring and returning home to California.

You watch the spot below….

Later on in this show, the subject of Rodgers would come up again. This time with Stephen A. providing his perspective.

And finally the debate from yesterday between Spears and Saturday.

Spears is a good analyst. And Rodgers himself would probably agree with some of the things he’s saying, but “Swagu” has been on the warpath against the future Hall Of Famer this week.
