Celebrities courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers game is nothing new. You’re probably more likely to see them sitting there than any other sporting event that doesn’t involve the Super Bowl.
But Los Angeles Rams quarterback, Matthew Stafford and comedian John Mulaney sitting next to each other during one of the best prime time games of the year? That’s a social media win at almost every turn.
And that’s what we got Saturday night as the Lakers took on the Golden State Warriors in a terrific game, where LeBron James scored 56 points. His most ever as a Laker.

The Lakers beat the Warriors 124-116 in a much needed win for a franchise that is trying to get back on the right track and piece together some sort of playoff run.
James was in attendance last month, when Stafford led the Rams to a Super Bowl win over the Cincinnati Bengals in a game that was also played in Los Angeles.
Mulaney hosted Saturday Night Live in New York last weekend for the 5th time.
It’s unclear if Mulaney and Stafford came to the game together, or if they even spoke. But the internet loved it anyways.
