Young Rock: We move a step closer to watching “The Great One” come to be

Young Rock sure is a nice experience to have back on our television. Isn’t it?

We got to see Dewey continue to give 100% up in Canada with the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League, and we all know how that worked out. But this show tries to teach us to look back on the past and examine the important moments that helped shape who we are.

That was Dewey with Kenny Walker, his deaf teammate. His fishing trip with Kenny was good TV.

But Dewey got cut. And now the stage is set for him to go train as a wrestler and become The Rock we’ve all gotten to know and love.

There wasn’t a lot to say this week. The show digged on Doug Flutie again, who was famously rude to Dwayne Johnson during their time together.

We also saw more of Dany Garcia played by Arlyn Broche.

An important question still goes unanswered as we learned last week. We still don’t know if he won the election, and they’re advancing this “guy on the internet” narrative. I have a feeling these stories will take us through the entire season.

The fun stuff is coming though. I’ll see you next week!
