ESPN: Fans got jokes after audio goes out during T’Wolves vs. Grizzlies playoff game

ESPN, The World Wide Leader In Sports, whose parent company is Disney, experienced audio difficulties during game one of the NBA playoff series between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The sound from the game began cutting in and out. Viewers then heard someone doing a mic check by repeatedly counting to ten. And the chaos continued.

Mercifully, ESPN finally cut to Mike Greenberg, Stephen A. Smith, and Jalen Rose for commentary, and while all three are veterans of the industry, they were hardly prepared to awkwardly call this game.

And you. The fans. Were there waiting on social media.

Let’s go to the tweets.

It’s live TV folks. I did it for a while. This stuff happens. Enjoy the game!
