Mercy Foundation Resource Fair brings resources to Osceola County veterans

This morning, I had the opportunity to attend the Mercy Foundation Resource Fair for veterans in Kissimmee. The event aimed to bring resources to our bravest brothers and sisters in the area.

Some of the participating organizations included Kissimmee and Osceola County municipal organizations, local employers, educational vendors, and services that help veterans in their time of need.

The event was free.

Local officials on hand included Osceola County Commissioner Cheryl Grieb and staff from Congressman Darren Soto’s office.

Events that specialize in helping those who served are especially important in Florida, where we rank among the leaders in veterans homelessness and suicides.

Below are just a couple of pictures from the event.
