Ted Lasso: The Universe puts its thing back into you
Goodness. Where to start with this wondeful show.
Let’s start with Hannah Waddington, likely adding to her collection of rewards, as Rebecca goes to the doctor to see if she can still have children. I think many of us have looked down at that emergency contacts question and had to take a moment. I know I have. Then there was her performances during the doctor’s interview and after she got the final phone call, where she didn’t even have that many lines. I couldn’t even tell the results of her tests and I still felt emotionally connected to her. Just great acting.
I told you Zava would leave the team hanging. Didn’t I? The dude was always about himself. In the end, he really didn’t even help the team win any games. Let’s hope the Jamie Tartt era yields better results.
But I don’t think it will though. I actually think the picture below is one of the last shots of the series. Ted, his son, and Beard rooting on Nate as he tries to win the big game. Would Rebecca actually fire Ted? I don’t know.
And speaking of Nate, you know he didn’t deserve that impromptu date at the restaurant with his crush. Right? This is one of the few times that I believe the show has been too kind. Its rewarding bad behavior at this point with that traitor.
Finally, I know a lot of people are starting to ship Ted and Rebecca or Tedbecca as social media is starting to call it. I’m not sure I can go for that. Especially since Ted’s already been with Sassy.
See you next week!
