NBA superstar Damian Lillard kept everyone talking about free agency over the weekend, when the news broke that a trade is being explored that would finally end the veteran’s long tenure with the Portland Trail Blazers.
The “Get Up” panel kicked off the week discussing potential landing spots for Lillard with the two mostly likely outcomes being the Miami Heat for a potential team up with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, or the Philadelphia 76ers for a collaboration with Joel Embiid.
“I love the fit with Joel Embiid in Philadelphia” Alan Hahn began “If I’m the 76ers I’m doing whatever it takes to make this move now. I’m not wasting any time.”
“I think Philly and Miami are great fits” Tim Bontemps said “Whoever gets Dame, you could argue they’re going to be the best team in the Eastern Conference”
