“They Cloned Tyrone” was very cleverly written. So much so, that whether it was intended to or not there were a lot of things that viewers like myself could point to and ask..

“Was that an inside joke?”

“Were they breaking the fourth wall?”

“What exactly did they mean?”

When Yo Yo was trying to narc on the bad buys in the compound, she dressed in a trench coat and sunglasses, one of her prostitute colleagues called her “Carmen San Dieg Ho”, this of course means Carmen San Diego, a fictional antagonist who dresses in a similar fashion.

“So you trying to tell me there is a bunch of Bill Nye the science guy looking mother—s” hopefully you can track what kind of people had been experimenting on The Glen community from this statement.

Yo Yo repeatedly mentions Nancy Drew during the movie. While Nancy Drew never had this kind of challenge she did have the mystery of hidden stairway to figure out. Yo Yo had hidden elevators.

Finally, Olympia Black is a Sci Fi Author who’s bio in part reads..
