The TV networks understand that it’s a Saturday in late July when they crafted their schedules tonight. There won’t be a lot of eyeballs watching free TV.
There will be a lot of butts in theater seats though with both Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer already doing big business as a double feature. I don’t have a lot to keep you at home in front of that.
FOX will offer Major League Baseball in the only true original offering tonight.
NBC will present Baking It with Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph. The show is already featured on Peacock. How awesome would it be to have an episode of Poker Face and Bel Air playing tonight on free TV?
CW has Greatest Geek Year 1982 followed by two reruns of Whose Line Is It Anyways?
CBS is all leftovers with back to back NCIS Hawaii and 48 Hours.
ABC has back to back to back Shark Tank reruns.
If you need something to watch at home on the streamers, I’d suggest Hijack on Apple TV, They Cloned Tyrone on NetFlix and Full Circle on HBO.
