NFL: Get Up panel weighs Davante Adams forcing a trade out of Las Vegas

Update: “No chance in hell” reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter

The Las Vegas Raiders are under duress after falling to the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football 26-14 in a contest where the offense never really got going and took a step back from playoff contention.

One of the notable reactions from the Raiders after the loss was from Devante Adams, the top tier receiver was visually upset during different periods of the game and jogged off immediately after the contest was over. He later told reporters that he was “frustrated” after the loss.

On Tuesday morning, The Get Up panel on ESPN weighed the chance that Adams could force a trade out of Las Vegas before the 4PM est trade deadline.

“Tell em’. Let’s get this done by 4pm today” said Jeff Saturday.

“Trying to do this now, you’re going to make a mess” said Dominique Foxworth ”

The panel also weighed other potential deals that could get done with the trade deadline looming, including the chance that Titans receiver Deandre Hopkins could end up in Kansas City for another Super Bowl run. Also Titans quarterback, Ryan Tannehill was a name thrown around to stabilize the New York Jets quarterback situation although that possibility was also quickly denied.

Adams left Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers to head to the Raiders after it looked like the Packers were preparing to rebuild, but hasn’t found much luck in Vegas either and the quarterback he was hoping to build with in Derek Carr was shipped off to New Orleans in the offseason.

You can watch the segment below. Adams is discussed in the final part of the video.

What do you think? Should Adams force a trade? Let me know in the comments.
