Ryan Gosling is a great actor. And his performance in Barbie is getting some much deserved accolades. He was a show stealer for sure.

But his fans want you to know that he’s been funny before Barbie.

After a Vanity Fair article said “He’s always been charming. But with Ken, he finally gets to be funny.” fans took to social media to slam the statement.

Their two pieces of proof was “The Nice Guys”, his 2016 mystery action outing. And “Crazy, Stupid, Love” his 2011 rom com with Steve Carrell and Emma Stone.

And the fans are right. “The Nice Guys” hits a tone we hardly ever see anymore with well done buddy films, and “Crazy, Stupid, Love” is one of my favorite romantic comedies ever. I pump it up every Valentine’s Day and have held watch alongs as well.
