We got our first few seconds of Severance season 2 footage, as the show was featured in Apple TV’s sizzle reel for its upcoming slate of programming.

And it’s not an exaggeration, we’re only given a few moments of the popular series that hasn’t premiered a new episode in almost two years.

But let’s have a look at what we’ve been given.

We get Mark walking through the elevator at Lumon: No immediate answer on how the switch cliffhanger would have gone from season one. But we know that our main protagonist is back at the company and looking rather distressed.

Millchick is welcoming us back: “It’s been a minute” the Lumon ride or die henchman tells us. He’s got balloons with Mark’s face on it. He’s saying it in almost a remorseful way, which could be good or bad.

Mark is also going through some kind of procedure: This could be reintergration that we heard about. It’s possible that Mark might be fully aware of what’s going on but has to play along with what his innie might be going through. Then again, it could also be a wipe.

Mark is on the table and having flashbacks: This is where we saw Helly at the beginning of this wild ride. We see his outfits changing. This has me leaning towards a wipe.

These are all just theories based on seconds of footage. But what is a safe assumption is that we’re all ready for this show to come back. It’s been way too long.
