What’s On TV Tonight 6/21/24: Stanley Cup skates on, Smackdown action

Your Friday night television offerings are especially sports centric with championships still waiting to be decided and little else on this summer night that gives you little excuse to avoid your kids.

ABC will continue it’s coverage of the Stanley Cup Finals. It feels like it’s been months as the Florida Panthers have tried to put away the Edmonton Oilers, but our neighbors to the north aren’t ready to stop yet. The Panthers hold a 3-2 series lead.

FOX gives us Friday Night Smackdown, what’s next for Cody Rhodes after defeating AJ Styles at Clash at the Castle. Probably Randy Orton, which could be fun feud.

NBC will continue its coverage of the Olympic trials, while CBS actually gives us a new episode of Lingo, before reruns of SWAT and Blue Bloods.

The CW will offer up new episodes of The Big Bakeover followed by Totally Funny Animals and Totally Funny Kids.

On cable, the big ticket may be Caitlin Clark, as the Indiana Fever takes on the Atlanta dream.

Streaming gives us Bad Blood: Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun on MAX. The documentary will highlight a business power play that aggravates Swifties to this day.
