This week, the 21st season of The Bachelorette will kick off, with 25 men vying for the heart of the beautiful Jenn Trann. She will be the first Asian American Bachelorette, and she is a 26 year old health care worker from Miami.

And like we do on each season of the Bachelornation franchise we cover, let’s go over the tale of the tape of the guys.

The youngest guy is Dylan (24), the oldest is Kevin (35).

California will continue it’s geographical dominance on the show with 5 entries this season. But Florida, Texas, and New York are all well represented with 3 a piece. And there are two Canadians.

Jenn will have plenty of colleagues in the health care field with 5 of the guys currently working in the industry. The Bachelor has always fielded big numbers from health care (and fans have noticed). But Real Estate and Development are also well represented with 3 men, as well as Finance and Business with 3 a piece as well.

And we have an Army Ranger veteran in Marcus. Hooah!

Facial hair is running amok with 19 guys sporting some kind of it in their profile pictures.

As for the show, it will be once again hosted by Jesse Palmer, he’s been The Bachelor himself, and before that was a quarterback for the New York Giants. He’s was also one of ESPNs prime analysts before taking over the hosting gig on the Bachelor full time.

When last season wrapped, a social media poll taken by this blog yielded an approval rating of over 80 percent for Palmer.
