While The Perfect Couple, which premieres this weekend on Netflix sports some big stars and a couple of familiar faces, there is an excellent chance that one of those actors is gnawing at your subconcisious as you try to figure out where you’ve seen her before.

I’m talking about the actress who plays Merritt in the spicy murder mystery.

That is Meghann Fahy, and yes, she was also in the White Lotus. She played Daphne Sullivan on season 2 of the show.

And while The Perfect Couple is still new and I don’t want to spoil anything if you haven’t seen it, I can’t say much about Merritt.

But I can say plenty about Daphnee Sullivan. You’ll recall she was married to Cameron, played by Theo James. And the couple was interwoven at the Italian resort with Ethan and Harper spiller played by Will Sharpe and the awesome Aubrey Plaza. Daphnee plays it cool for the entirety of the campaign, but leaves some big questions when we last see her about her marriage and her relationship with Ethan.

In The Perfect Couple. Merritt is the flirtatious life of the party and best friends with bride-to-be Amelia.

While Fahy does a great job in both, it doesn’t help the fact that The Pefect Couple keeps getting both positive and negative comparisons to the popular HBO show that has fans eagerly anticipating its third campaign, that will once again star an intriguing cast.
