The Gladiator II marketing team probably wasn’t expecting their popcorn bucket of the big upcoming holiday film to trend, but it did.

Just probably not for the reasons intended.

Instead, social media took the Gladiator II popcorn bucket and said it looked a lot like rapper MF Doom. Which is some kind of alter ego which also resembles Doctor Doom from the Marvel comics.

The actual Gladiator II film will be one of the biggest movies of the holiday season, and we’ll watch Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal try to pick up the mythology where Russell Crowe left it.
