ESPN First Take slams Bears for “atrocious” defense before Commanders miracle win
Sport talk television was still talking about the unbelievable, last second Washington Commanders 18-15 victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday afternoon that resolved with a Hail Mary and questionable behavior before the snap.
First Take confronted the play at the top of their show…
“Don’t get me started on how atrocious the Bears defense was.” began Stephen A. Smith “Especially with that kid Tyrique Stevenson, I mean sitting there chanting to the crowd and all of this other stuff with his back turned while the Commanders are running down field.”

“If Tyrique Stevenson had not been bull jiving around and doing what he was supposed to do, who knows what would have happened.” said Shannon Sharpe “But we’ll never know because he chose in that moment to make it about himself.”
“For the Chicago Bears to let that out route happen, completely unacceptable” said Dan Orlovsky said about an earlier play “number two, if you watch that play and we just broke it down, I’ll put it on my Twitter, Tyrique Stevenson is doing the same thing he does on the Hail Mary”
