One of the worst consumer experiences in the world is being a LUMA customer in Puerto Rico. The electrical utility provider for the island has been preying off of residents of the island for years.

And they’re at it again. This time as the world prepares to steer into 2025.

LUMA found itself trending on New Year’s Eve while the island experiences major outages, putting residents in a dangerous place as the delivery of essential services become compromised.

Nothing is ever done about this. It’s a crime. Hopefully a resolution for 2025 is to finally hold LUMA accountable.
