The Pitt: Here is how many times Whitaker has changed his scrubs

The Pitt has been an enjoyable jog through a Pittsburgh emergency room for far, and it’s only noon.

But one of the viewers favorite running gags so far into the season is how many times Dennis Whitaker aka “Huckleberry” has had to change out of his scrubs.

At the point of this publication (episode 6), he’s changed them out three times, with a fourth change imminent.

How does this keep happening? Let’s explain.

It’s a New Year! Time to get in shape! Buy these Dumbbells from Amazon NOW!

The first time: Whitaker was treating a patient with Mylanta and got it all over himself.

The second time: In a scene that resembled more of the breaching of a room on a police program, Whitaker is sprayed with urine by a man with mental health issues, as the other members of the team are restraining him.

The third time: Whitaker discovers an artery below another bruise he is treating and is sprayed with blood.

And the inevitable fourth time: A young man vomits blood all over Whitaker, before the rest of the team comes in for the save, including Langdon and Robby in a satisfying scene opening up an airway. He is still wearing the bloody scrubs when we last see him.

Now there are some questions that we have. Mostly, “How do those scrub exchange machines work?”.

Well, most of the time, there in the locker room, which means that other health care professionals don’t have to endure the embarrassment of walking around the floor wearing a patient gown.

But another big question is “How many scrubs does Whitaker have left?”. And how many more accidents will he have?

Let me see your guesses below!
