Green Bay News Headlines 2/9/25: Super Bowl Sunday and Sturgeon Spearing season kicks off
Happy Super Bowl Sunday, Readers!
While I’ll be glued to my television and social media all day, there was some news in Northeast Wisconsin yesterday. Most of it weather related of course.
Indeed, Winter Storm Brenda blew several inches of snow our way yesterday, including in the greater metropolitan Green Bay area, where road travel was definitely affected.
Then there was the beginning of sturgeon spearing season. And according to the coverage, it looked like a solid turnout.
But the story will be the big game tonight. Let’s have a read at what’s going on.
