One of the biggest headaches we’ve had over the past few months, has been watching bad information on immigration enforcement make it’s way around town, scaring those that shouldn’t be scared for the benefit of those looking to raise their own political profiles. (story HERE)

And there are players on both sides that are guilty of doing it.

On one hand, you have those who currently oppose the current administration in the White House. They want you to believe that ICE is preparing to raid schools and churches, throwing kids and clergy to the ground and separating families. And wouldn’t you know it? They’re the only ones that can protect you. So, you need to exalt them. Promote them.

Then we have those who are fanning the flames. While those raids are used as an exaggeration by immigration enforcement enemies, we have this group doing the same thing. They want you to be scared because it lionizes them to their allies and also raises their profiles on social media.

Both sides are wrong. Both sides are doing it for self gain.

You want to know the truth.

Listen to law enforcement. And observe what is actually taking place in your community.

If you’re following our nation’s laws on immigration, then don’t allow yourself to experience the unneeded anxiety from this harmful rhetoric.

And if you approve of these policies, be good citizens and let the process work on its own. And work to keep these policies in place by remaining present in the process and ready to support your leaders when the next election rolls around.
