Paradise is a very dark and heavy affair. The humorous moments are few and far in-between, and I guess that’s understandable given that the world has faced an apocalyptic event, and society as we know it is just hunkered down in a bunker.

But the series finale gives us a wild, out of left field obsession from a character that many will find funny or really weird. Most likely both.

We’re talking about Jane and her video games.

Jane ends up being one of the most lethal characters on the show, after we discovered that this sweet, fun loving girl friend in the party dress and cowboy boots, is a stone cold killer.

And we learn that she’s doing it all over video games.

Jane decides to become Sinatra’s killer of choice, when an accord is struck over the possession of some video games she played with the boyfriend she ended up killing, Billy Pace.

She decides that she’ll kill again, and even spares sinister Sinatra’s life, if she gets possession of these video games.

The game we observe Jane playing during the final musical montage closing out the finale is Nintendo Wii, specifically Tennis from Nintendo Wii Sports which was released in 2006.
