Deal or No Deal Island, concluded what was a very nicely produced second season of the reality competition series, that spring boards from the popular game show.

“The Golden God” David, would get the final go ahead to face the banker, and would make a deal worth about $5.8 million dollars. And the rest of the cast rallied behind him as he did so.

Fans loved the finale. It got a rare “A” grade on a normally cynically skewed “X” poll.

What didn’t play well was the reveal of the banker. The only thing we knew going into the evening was that she was a woman.

Popular guesses were Reba McEntire, past DONDI winner Jordan Fowler, and even host Joe Manganiello’s ex, Sofia Vergara.

But the audience got embattled super model Chrissy Teigen. In recent years, Teigen has had a tough relationship with fans and critics on social media. Fans went broad when asked to describe what their objections were to her.

While Teigen was fairly friendly as the nemesis banker, and even took a shot at herself saying she was “the worst banker of all time”, the audience never really warmed up to her.

Otherwise, Deal or No Deal Island had a terrific season. The cast was excellent with reality favorite like Dr. Will and Parvati, in addition to others like former WWE star, Lete, and Deal or No Deal superfans like Dixon.
