Here is are my Take Aways from the 2025 NFL Draft Experience
The NFL Draft has finally arrived in Green Bay, and while this blog is published in the host city, we’re also the smallest market in the NFL, and this is the biggest event to ever hit the community. It’s a lot to take in.
Here are my takeaways from the 2025 NFL Draft Experience from my visit.
Be prepared to walk. A lot: While approaching from the Green Bay side isn’t too bad. Ashwaubenon did us no favors with getting around. But even when you get to Lambeau, there is a lot of hiking to get around. I’m originally from Orlando, land of the theme parks, and there is just as much walking involved here for sure.
Lambeau Field is the centerpiece we expected: This is a football pilgrimage. And while I see this historic structure everyday, the magic is still there when you get to walk inside of the stadium. I loved it. And being able to watch so many other fans from around the league here at the same time is as rewarding as you would expect it to be.
The stage is impressive: You have to ask yourself what kind of stage takes weeks to build. This is that kind of stage. It’s something to behold. You have to see it.
The real attraction might be the surrounding community: Just like the games, the community around Lambeau and in this case, the NFL Draft, was a blast. You’ll have plenty of great food and drink, and then with the draft, you’ll have the entire league there with you to share in the fun. Plus, supporting the outside businesses will help Green Bay much more.
The NFL Draft experience is worth the visit. And if you’re on the fence whether you should go or not, I would say make the trip. You never know when this opportunity will come again.
