Bad Thoughts: Episode Two Recap

Well, Bad Thoughts certainly isn’t afraid of some adult humor. Tom Segura is taking some chances with this Netflix comedy outing. The episodes are short, which will definitely please some of the more short duration viewers. You can read the episode one recap HERE. Episode two. Let’s go!

What Happened?: We pick up one year later after the Cyrus IT skit, with that mean co worker, Evan, running from a hospital. We learn that computers have crashed and aliens are having their way with the human population. A stranger tells Evan that if they can both poop on the same toilet at the same time, that a portal will open that will allow them to escape. It all’s turns out to be a trick by an alien and right when we expect the worse, the whole thing is a VR game being played at an exhibit.

After a short skit about success, the next spot is a Steven Segal goof segment. He hates all of the other action stars, can barely move during his fight scenes, and is friends with Putin. He appears to be executed by Russian investors as the skit closes.

We then meet country superstar Rex Henley who just released the song “Rich guy advice”. After being mocked by late night TV, we flash forward six months to a prison camp where Henley has a liter captive audience helping him write music. We also meet a prisoner name Shelley, and when she becomes defiant, we believe she is going to be executed but instead is invited to dinner as we get another “To Be Continued”.

Quotes:

“Machines fight aliens. Aliens f****g human. Is that really the craziest thing happening these days.”

“Success is tough. Many people define success as spending quality time with the people they love. We can all agree those people are losers.”

“I do karate on a helicopter. I do Kung Fu on a speeding motorcycle. I do all my own s**t. Not like that p***y, Tom Cruise.”

“I’m bleeding. I’m dying. I’m bleeding. Look at me die, everybody.”

Trivia and Takeaways:

There is already a popular video game franchise “Destroy All Humans” where you play a very similar looking alien.

The Rex Henley prison camp appears to be ran by North Koreans.
