The closure of the Veterans Housing And Recovery Program facility here in Green Bay is a terrible loss for our brothers and sisters who have served here in Northeast Wisconsin. Struggling veterans like myself will have an even tougher climb to stable housing because of it (story HERE).

Recently, I had a chance to talk to FOX 11 about the closing of the Green Bay VHRP and what it will mean for others like me here in the area.

The call to action remains the same. Talk to your elected officials, friends, and neighbors and tell them that our veterans need these resources. Homelessness and suicide numbers remain too high. We have to do better.
