It appears that for the second time in his career, Kross is leaving the WWE after they failed to find something for him and Scarlett to do. I just can’t understand it.

This is because they were on the precipice of doing it right years ago.

You’ll remember when Keith Lee won the NXT title a few years back. Kross was teed up as a promotion leading heel with Scarlett at his side. They looked absolutely perfect. This was the bald Kross with the suit and Scarlett with the cinematic entrance.

Then somewhere along the line, we got lost. They stuck Kross in that Mortal Kombat costume with the ugly mask. And then a couple of months later, he was gone.

And then, when the organization was healing after the leadership change, they brought him back and there was reason to be hopeful once more.

Again. Nothing happened. We got more Logan Paul though. We’ve had plenty of the guy who we didn’t ask for, who keeps taking up real estate on major cards.

Now, we’re here. And Kross and Scarlett are nowhere.

It doesn’t seem that hard to book a guy like Kross. They say “we’re not paying to see our neighbors.”. Well, I’ve never had neighbors like Kross and Scarlett. They’re made for this.

I suppose, this is where the “I hope he lands somewhere better” remarks should come in. But that has become such a cliche and its not a competitive industry anymore. WWE is the only major stage right now.

It’s a shame that they’re keeping good people off it.
