Wake Up Dead Man: Why Josh O’Connor Second Billing Is Important

The new Wake Up Deadman poster has dropped and of course, it looks great with Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc kneeling over a grave, flanked by the all star cast.

If you notice the rundown of stars in the poster, Craig of course take top billing.

But second billing goes to O’Connor. Not Glenn Close. Not Josh Brolin. Not Jeremy Renner.

Why does that matter?

Because the second billed star in both Knives Out (Chris Evans) and Glass Onion (Edward Norton) both turned out to be the killer’s in their respective stories.

This of course is a theory. It could all be a coincidence and Rian Johnson doesn’t always play fair with his mysteries.

O’Connor is also playing clergy. That would be an edgy touch. We’ll just have to see.

Wake Up Deadman will have a temporary run on November 26th followed by what will certainly be a legion of eager eyeballs when it goes home to Netflix on December 12th.
