ESPN: Ryan Clark Trends Negative For Second Straight Day For Argument with Pete Schrager
For the second straight day in a row, ESPN NFL Analyst, Ryan Clark, top the trends on social media in a negative sentiment for his commentary on the air.
On Get Up! Clark interrupted on air partner Pete Schrager during a debate on the Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles season opener regarding performances from CeeDee Lamb and AJ Brown.
“We shouldn’t do this on TV and so I apologize if people think this is rude.” began Clark gesturing at Schrager “That’s the non player in you.”
“Oh, stop.” replied SChrager “Don’t belittle me like that.”
Clark requested that he finish and said the non player remark was more about him than Schrager.
Yesterday, Clark top the trends in a negative sentiment for saying Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Tom Brady were not generational talents despite 10 SuperBowl rings between them.
Social media responded for a second straight day…
This is cringe. Schrager has a reputation as being one of the hardest-working reporters. Yet, Ryan Clark belittles him on set over a disagreement. The last guy to disagree with Clark he shamed for marrying a white woman. At what point does ESPN fire him?

Pete Schrager should be careful. The next time he disagrees with Ryan Clark the race of his wife may be brought up.

Funniest part is Ryan Clark apologizes for what he said before even saying it. I feel like every time I see a RC post these days he’s apologizing. 😂 He takes this stuff too seriously/personally. Tough watch. Rather hear Schrager talk football over RC.

Nah cause if i disagree with Ryan Clark on Live TV he might insult my wife and I might have to put him in a stretcher. https://t.co/odS7U5m482

Love seeing Ryan Clark get roasted for this. People are smarter than this, it's insulting to Schrager and your audience to pull the "well you didn't play" card.
Man, the only reason you're on that table is cause you played, Schrager had to earn his spot. https://t.co/RarX2OVoXk

So yesterday Ryan Clark claimed that Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Tom Brady were NOT generational talents.
Today he’s publicly belittling his coworker and discrediting his resume on set to win an argument on a shouty show.
This behavior is why people don’t like ESPN anymore. https://t.co/pDH822M8vm

Ryan Clark is a clown. The way he belittled Peter Schrager today was uncalled for.

Who would I rather watch and listen to talk about football?
Peter Schrager > Ryan Clark. I don’t give a damn if he didn’t play in the NFL. He’s a better analyst, better storyteller, more entertaining and more plugged in.
ESPN is lucky to have Schrager.

Ryan Clark is a complete douche. I bet he’s never said that to Mina or Stephen A. 🙄🙄 https://t.co/KnBKmiUSad

This is like breaking the 4th wall as an actor, Ryan Clark intentionally disrespecting @PSchrags is completely unprofessional in any debate setting. Schrags stuck up for himself while also taking the high road imo. https://t.co/UYzmPkk7ao
