Fantasy Football: AJ Brown Single Catch Cowboys Campaign Won’t Continue
In what might be the most painful performance from a top tier player of the week one Fantasy Football season, AJ Brown caught only a single pass for 8 yards in the 24-20 Philadelphia Eagles victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night.
But it won’t continue. Why? Philadelphia can’t afford it.
The Eagles upcoming schedule is brutal: A Superbowl rematch against the Chiefs, a rematch against the Los Angeles Rams, and more playoff caliber teams with the Bucs and Broncos to follow. They need Brown on top of his game, or they’ll get mauled.
Brown wasn’t the only one to go hungry against the Cowboys: Dallas Goedert, the tight end, was the only one to pull in seven catches. The rest of Brown’s peers had about 3 a piece.
The Cowboys lined up against Brown and no Micah Parsons let Jalen Hurts run: Rather than force the ball to Brown, Jalen let his legs do the talking on Thursday night, running for two scores after the Cowboys traded away Micah Parsons. They obviously missed him.
Brighter skies ahead AJ Brown fans!
